Bio

Daphne Klagkou is a multidisciplinary artist from Athens, who lives and works between Greece and Portugal. As a visual artist, her artistic practice encompasses various disciplines, with a primary focus on clay and glass materials. Her artwork explores subjects such as power relations and internal and social mechanisms. She studied at the School of Fine Arts, where she graduated in 2021. In 2020, she was awarded the 1st prize by the National Insurance Company for the School of Fine Arts Graduates Competition. Currently, she is in Portugal as a postgraduate student, pursuing studies in Ceramics & Glass Art & Technology at Vicarte ( FCT NOVA & FBAUL).
